Best features

Sue: I am very impressed with the range of destinations included in this book. There are a great variety of organic places to stay, from hotels and B&B’s to campsites and yurts. There is also a good range of prices, so there really is something for everyone.
Catherine:
This book is laid out well with a colour picture for every place to stay and a wide range of prices to suit everybody. The descriptions of the properties are well written and there is a useful summary at the top of each with the address, cost and organic details. There is a good mix of self catering, bed and breakfast, camping and even a few yurts! Maps are at the front so you can see exactly where the accommodation is.
Kirsty: Maps with colour-coded property numbers make it easy to see what is available in each area. I had no idea there were so many organic places to stay in the UK!

Worst features

Sue: None. I just wish I could have more holidays, as there are so many places in the book I would like to visit!
Catherine: There are not any really but the one point I would make is that whilst there is plenty of accommodation in areas such as Wales and Devon and Cornwall there is nowhere near as much choice in the north. I live in Lancashire and there are only 3 which are owned by the same company.
Kirsty: It would be useful if properties were arranged by type of accommodation within each county. I tend to look for a particular type of accommodation rather than any type in a particular town.

Practicality

Sue: All the details of each property / campsite are listed, including websites and email addresses, so it is very easy to find more information on the places you are interested in. Prices are also included. The book is quite small and is paperback, so it is easy to pack and take with you if you are going on a touring holiday, or for if you just want to take it away with you.
Catherine: Very informative and easy to read
Kirsty: Each entry is laid out well with photos, detailed information and contact details. There is an easy to understand key listing whether a property is child/dog friendly and public transport links.

Value for money

Sue: Although £10.95 may sound expensive, I think this is very good value for money, as there are so many places included in the book, and it is great to have them all listed together in one place so that you can compare them. If you are keen to holiday somewhere with organic meals and produce available, this book is invaluable.
Catherine: £10.95 is what you would expect to pay for a book like this
Kirsty: The book is £10.95 which is about average for this type of book

Visual appeal

Sue: This is very stylish and well designed book. The pages are well laid out and the entries are clear and easy to read. Each entry has a photo so that you can see the property or campsite. Maps at the start of the book make it easy to search for properties in the area you wish to visit, and colour coding makes it easy to distinguish between the various types of holidays.
Catherine: A really attractive looking book, the front cover has lovely eye catching pictures.
Kirsty: The entries are clear and easy to read with good photos and colour coding. The maps at the start of the book are also clear and easy to understand.
