Planning a birth Giving birth is the most natural thing in the world (although it doesn’t feel like it for everyone, and that is in no way a personal failure) but it is a very different and unique experience for every individual.
Choosing to have a natural birth gives the privilege of having as much control as possible during the birth whilst also having the reassurance of fantastic medical facilities either in the birth centre, hospital or an ambulance ride away. Avoiding unnecessary drugs during birthing ensures that both mother and baby have a clear head and that the natural hormones encouraging bonding, feeding and recovery are allowed to do what Mother Nature intended.
